12/9/19 - weirdly good dream??

Good morning Chrome,

I had a weirdly good dream last night. One of my childhood bullies now as a fellow adult, apologized and wanted to hang out with me. I gave her a chance, and of course we played video games because why not. We played something something Mario, and instead of holding a controller we ourselves played as the characters having to get through the 3d courses. A magikoopa trailed us as we hopped down a river with waterfalls. We reached waterslides, that was pretty fun.
Anyway, I believe the moral of last night's dream is for me to move on from the past, and allow myself to enjoy the present.

There were no leftovers this morning, and the sweet foam ran out. So I cut up a banana and added it to a bowl of cinnamon wheat square cereal, and supplemented the sweet foam with whipped cream for my coffee, or mocha this time as there was a gallon of choco milk in the fridge and I figured why not.

I'm not sure how my day will pan out, I'll let you know as it goes.

12/8/19 - Here come the Biddys, a hectic xmas shopping story

I put my projects on hold, to join my family out to walmart as they shopped for xmas decorations. We didn't know a fundraiser event was happening there, it was super crowded. Dad had trouble finding a parking spot, and he couldn't see what's behind him because Mom was sitting in the middle. There was about 30 cops gathered around as part of the fundraiser, and we kept almost running people & cars over circling around the lot looking for a parking space, I couldn't help but let out a laugh when this happen when we were directly next to like 30 cops. Hey, no one got hurt, I can laugh at the insanity of the event.
I joined the outing to go on my own side quest, of buying myself snow boots. And I did note some good xmas gift ideas while there too.
In the decoration department, I found what was suppose to be reindeer head tree ornaments, but like, ball shape with faces. And the material used to make them, made them look more like Wasp Nests with faces. I just HAD to get them, and for only 2 dollars! It was a steal deal. I mean, I'll be honest, the price was right. They're lousy. But that's what makes them so loveable!
When we got back home, I asked Sis if it's okay to bring her wii into the living-room. She said yeah. Dad was annoyed at the idea because he knew this would result in less time for him to be able to watch TV. But eh, we did it anyway. Worst case scenario is it ends up back in her room. The other week, I bought about 10 wii games, so of course I wanted the wii in a place more accessible. Although she said I'm welcome to, it feels weird to just go in her room when I feel like it. So yeah, I brought it to the livingroom.
Once we got it hooked up, Bro and I played Mario Party 8, it was my first time! We lost the 3rd wiimote, otherwise all 3 of us would have played. I plan to buy a wiimote this week to resolve that issue.
We played the tent mode and DK board. The items are hilarious! I was not expecting Peach to particalize and morph into a ball. It's like the type of powers I expect from AlphaDream, I love it! The minigames are alright too, we skipped practice and went right to playing after reading the rules & controls, easy to learn right off the bat.
I can't talk about what I plan to get my family members for xmas, since they might snoop my blog, but I can say what I plan to get the dogs. A blanky for each of them, and a special rope toy that they can only play with under supervision (otherwise they'll shred and eat it). They'll like it more if it's a special occasion thing anyway :3 .

And that the story, have a good day!

12/8/19 - Project: The Year of Luigi

Dear Chrome,

I didn't finish yesterday's mission of helping Star-Equipt Baby Mario beat the tennis open ace exhibition. He's on the final opponent, Luma, at their signature Galaxy Arena - Crystal Court. We're doing it now. The area is described as mind bending, and has the strongest bounce & fastest ball speed. It's quite the spectacle, I wish you were with me to see it. We're in space, with planets fastly orbiting around us, we can see below us, as the crystal court is entirely see-through. There's christmas color Luma's dancing around us, they're the spectators that decide if the ball is in-or-out. Baby Mario & Luma are both excited to have this face off. They were teammates in all of the doubles tournaments. I think Luma might be a baby too, but I'm not sure, they live outside of any set timestream, as they travel through space, and I don't know what their age progression even looks like. Anyway, they're good friends, so this is a good start to the day. Go Baby Mario!

Baby Mario VS Ace-Luma REMATCH

I think I must be tired, I gave Baby Mario all the wrong energy input. We have to do a rematch. Heh, poor Baby, he cries rather erratically when he loses, kinda like an actual baby, but with an endless amount of much larger tear drops that projectile into the air. Bigger than raindrops even. Luma's pretty happy twirling around in a shower of confetti. Anyway, REMATCH!  Oh for anyone that doesn't know what a Luma is, imagine a chubby rounded glowing star about the size of a person's face, with 2 black dots for eyes, and a super cute echoey voice. They float instead of walk. In Tennis Open, Luma's a technique player, I think that means they're good at flat shots. They might be the quickest technique player, with their flying. But Baby Mario also's really quick, I think he might be the quickest of the cast. The Galaxy Arena has a classical swaying instrumental, reminds me a bit of old cartoons of the flipbook days. All in all, this court is very beautiful. Toad the referee is pretty cozy too, on Rosalina's red cushioned armrest chair. Lakitu as always is on his cloud, on ball retriever duty.
Luma might actually be more of a powerful technique than a quick technique? I'ma just leave them as, difficult to beat. On top of that, I think the court having the fastest ball speed & strongest bounce, works against Baby Mario. Both Baby M and Luma are very small in both width and height. But Luma at least has the advantage of flying to hit balls above his head sometimes. Baby M's gonna have to rely on having better intelligence than Ace difficulty.
Typically, for me, against Technique & Tricky type players, I have to watch where the balls going before chasing after it, in contrast, I can usually where it'll go with the other types of players. Technique's have no curve to their balls, so it'll either go straight in front of them, or straight to a side. Tricky's have ridiculous curve, usually to the point of going an opposite direction from where it started to look like it was going. The plus side for the person facing these types, is their hits are usually slower, so the path can be watched before chasing.
I'd like to note, when you're a Tennis Open newbie, an opponents chance shots can be quite scary, because of how much more powerful they are compared to regular shots. But once you gain knowledge and experience and go up the ranks, an opponents chance shots become a blessing, because they're indicative of exactly what the opponent will do and where the ball will go, yes, when you're in the ace ranks, it's the normal shots that are terrifying, you want the opponent to use chance shots, because if they're not, you don't know what type of regular shot they'll return- topspin? flat? lob? slice? It's a mystery till it comes your way. The best you can do is think "whatever is the most likely move to get past me is what they'll do"

Today's plans have changed.

Baby Mario being the first to face Ace Luma, I lay witness to the horrifying prowess of Luma at their own court. This is a rare occurrence where I just couldn't bring my player to win. And had to take Luma out of their court and into Baby Mario's Clay Court, where the ball will move slower, making it easier to track and spike. This match has taken so long, I have to bump Baby Peach's exhibition to tomorrow, so I can work on my other projects today.

Super Mario Boards

Neat note: I play youtube - 'Nintendo Radio' for the background of this site

I wonder if Baby & Lefty enjoyed Tennis Open for being easier to mod. I don't know if that's actual true, but I just have a feeling it might be, considering how the animations are in a static 3d field (the court), and the characters have set motion commands for specific circumstances. Idk anything about 3d modeling/animation or coding, but it just seems that way.
A funny newby, Joe, made a joke thread in the counting game section, where you can only add count if you're a preschooler. It's picking at the joke in the counting section description implying 'if you're a preschooler, this section is for you!'. Bowser II figured a loophole that allows players to add count, through roleplaying characters that could be preschoolers, since they already are roleplaying Junior. I joined this logic as my persona is always generic species and weaklings, currently a Nossie with my staple as a biddybud.
OH COOL! Hilda's hosting a christmas movie night for the boards, some users have suggested funny ironic movies, and others suggested pleasant campy movies. I think i will try to join this! Turns out there's a site that may be the replacement to the shutdown Rabit.

Hey chrome, I'm moving to Tumblr

No special reason, just because. https://biddybuddy.tumblr.com/
